Golfing in the Cape Peninsula – 8 Days

Day 1: Cape Town

Upon your arrival in Cape Town, a German-speaking tour guide will meet you at the airport and take you to your accommodation. Once you have checked in, the city orientation tour begins: It starts with a cable car ride up Table Mountain (weather permitting), continues with a walk in the Company's Garden, includes a stop at the Castle of Good Hope as well as the City Hall and ends at Green Market Square, where you'll experience the lively activity and bright colours of the stalls and merchants. We'll also do a walkabout in the Malay Quarter and see the colourful houses known as Bo Kaap. The last stop will be at the Waterfront. You may choose to spend the evening here and enjoy the world class eateries and shops or take the provided transport back to the hotel to wind down and relax.

Day 2: Cape Town – Steenberg Golf Course – Constantia Wine Region

Today you'll play a round of golf at the Steenberg Golf Course. In the afternoon we'll explore the area, at it is oldest wine region in the country: Constantia Valley. You'll get to know one of its outstanding wine farms and the subsequent wonderfully tasty wines. We have made dinner reservations at one of the wine farms for the evening meal.

Day 3: Cape Town – Peninsula

This Day too, begins with a round of golf. Clovelly Golf Course is a true gem in the fine selection of courses in the Cape. After the game we'll head off in the direction of The Cape of Good Hope, visit Cape Point as well as the penguin colony at Boulders beach. We'll drive along the Atlantic coast, pass Hout Bay and take Chapmans Peak Drive, one of the most beautiful coastal roads in the world.

Day 4: Cape Town – Hermanus – Villiersdorp

After breakfast we'll leave Cape Town and head for Hermanus. We will travel along the coastal which offers a stunning view of False Bay and - on condition of respective weather conditions - Cape Point. Hermanus is a great place for whale watching. During the months of June through to December the Southern Right whales can be spotted along the coast. From there we'll head towards Hemel en Aarde, a beautiful valley on the way to Villiersdorp. On our way, we will visit some wine farms and sample their excellent South African liquid grapes!

Day 5: Villiersdorp – ArabellaGolf Course – Stellenbosch

Today our golfing will take place at the Arabella Golf Course. After a quick recess we'll continue and take the Franschhoek Pass towards Franschhoek and Stellenbosch. The way offers stunning views onto majestic mountains and green valley's with seemingly endless lush vineyards. The fertile earth and warm Mediterranean climate make this area one of the most famous wine regions worldwide.

Day 6: Stellenbosch – Paarl

What is the highlight of the Day? Some rounds of golf at the famous Pearl Valley Golf Course! This course was designed by Jack Nicklaus and made for golfing at its best. As the second oldest town in South Africa, Stellenbosch consists of a variety of many historically valuable buildings. You'll get the opportunity to see some of the Cape-Dutch architectural style houses on an afternoon walk through the student's town.

Day 7: Stellenbosch – Somerset West

After a relaxing morning we'll head to famous Erinvale Golf Club in Somerset West. The place is situated between majestic mountains and lush vineyards. During the afternoon we'll enjoy a game of golf, the evening will be rounded off by a wonderful farewell dinner.

Day 8: Stellenbosch – Cape Town
